Product Review - Interesting
So my mom came across these limited edition (as per the box) Ritz chocolate covered crackers and bought them for me. They are interesting. They have a similar taste of chocolate covered pretzels. They are sweet and a little salty. The crackers taste wafer like and didn't have their signature buttery Ritz cracker taste. Overall I like these crackers and will be honest couldn't eat just one.

Naive
"I know you don’t want to hear this, but newlyweds are cheating. The numbers are gnarly; 15 percent of women and 12 percent of men under the age of 35 reported cheating within their first year of marriage! The worst part: Since these stats came from people who admitted it, relationship therapist Dr. Bonnie Eaker said she suspects the real number is more than half.
Although Eaker’s estimate is interesting, I'm not sure I agree.
I know a ton of couples who've made the long walk down the big white aisle, and while, sadly, many haven't made it past the three-year mark, I can only think of one where infidelity was a factor. I guess the real question is, why does anyone cheat within the so-called honeymoon phase? My guess is that these are people who just can't come to terms with what real marriage is.
In short: not a perfect paradise full of roses and gumdrops and sexy-twinkly lighting 24/7. Eaker says (this I actually do agree with) that infidelity is not really a decision, but monogamy is. I have long maintained that at some point in their lives, every person will come to a place where they will have to actually work to stay faithful. Something will happen where it will be easier and less of a "choice" to cheat, and you'll have to choose to protect your relationship."
My thoughts from this article:
1. I am naive, because I was surprised by the number of people who are cheating within their first year of marriage.
2. If you are cheating within the first year of marriage.. maybe you married the wrong person.
3. If you are cheating with your first year of marriage.. maybe you weren't ready to be married in the first place.

Bad very bad
1. I didn't have much to say
2. No one really read my blog
3. I might possible be boring
Although all of the above may be true, I decided to give it one more try and see if I can become a regular blogger. I thoroughly enjoy reading other people's blogs so maybe just maybe someone will be interested in reading mine.. so here goes again.
Since I have posted since June, lets see what's new since then. My friend Kristen and I started a baking business and slowly but surely we are getting customers and have a bunch of orders in the near future.
Besides my regular job, I decided to get a part time job at BBB (Bed Bath & Beyond). Will isn't home at night since he is working so I thought it would be fun and some extra money. It has its benefits but working 2 jobs is a lot sometimes but I am making it work or trying to at least.
Will and I have been married for a little over 6 months now and it has been a decent first year of marriage. Like most people money is tight right now but we are trying to live our lives and enjoy each other.
The puppies are doing good and as sweet as ever.
Well I guess that is all I have to say right now.. but I promise to try to update more often now.

Ramblings
Pet peeve 1:
I hate when people complain that they have no money or that they can't spend money and need to save it for whatever but yet they are consistently attending some event or out partying.
Pet peeve 2:
I hate that people don't give me the same consideration that I give them. I try to be a nice person but some people really stink.
Pet peeve 3:
People who think they know everything about something they have never done before.
OK, so enough complaining for today.
So I have decided to take all the cut out magazine recipes and online printed recipes I have been collecting for a couple years now and put them into a word document and try to compile them into some sort of cookbook. I have about 50 recipes so far and will continue to research for new recipes to add to the cookbook.

Just one of those days
Renovation continue on Casa Vasquez. We are half way down with painting the dining room. The room was primed on Thursday night, then Will gave it one coat Friday and I finished it with a heavy second coat of paint of Saturday. This weekend is striping time. After a small disagreement I went and bought a laser level to make the process of taping off the stripes easier. I started taping last night and I did one stripe and got tired. I will try to do some more this week, otherwise Friday night Will and I will tape out the stripes together and I will paint on Saturday.
Our house looks like a disaster right now with the dining room table and 6 chairs in the living room. The kitchen island is covered with tons of papers and painting stuff. I can't wait to finish off the dining room so our house can get back to some form of normality. Once the dining room is finished I will poster before, during and after pictures.
Also this past weekend we had a new fence installed and took out excess concrete that was around the patio. We decided to fill it in with dirt and plant flowers. We bought a bunch of seeds to plant but we also bought two Lily's plants. I love Lily's and figured in honor of Princess Lilly dog we would plant some Lily's, unfortunately there are no Winston plants so he is SOL.
Our next big project which wouldn't be started for a new months is to finish off the basement. Before we do that, we are going to buy a shed and do a huge spring cleaning with a giant yard sale. The house is coming along nicely and overtime will be exactly how we want it.
I also really want to get a chair to put in our bedroom but don't want to spend a fortune. I am hopefully going to check out the Pit at Bob's Furniture's store. You can get some pretty nice stuff, that might have the smallest thing wrong with it. It alittle pen mark or something. We got two really nice recliners from the Pit before and no one knew there weren't perfect except us. Well I guess that is all for now.

First post
So I am newly married to a wonderful man named Will. We meet at work and I was actually dating someone else at that time. Little by little Will and I became friends and would share the newspaper during lunch. Will finally decided to make a move and passed me a note totally 4th grade style. The note said something like I think you are really pretty and would like to get to know you better and he gave me his number. I texted him a few hours later and the phone calls started not to long after that. I initially told Will I was dating someone but had no problem being friends with him. Well Will informed me that he was going to get me to fall in love with him. I told him he was crazy and laughed it off. A few months later the relationship I was in went from bad to worse and I ended things. Well Will made his move and asked me to dinner. We had an amazing time and the rest is history. A few months later we moved in together and got engaged March 2008.
Will and I decided to get married on March 21, 2009. March 21st was an important date to me, it was my father's (who has passed away) birthday. It was also the day I was baptized. It conveniently landed on a Saturday in 2009. So the date was picked.
July of 2008 we bought our first house. A 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath split level house. We have been doing little project around the house and will continue until the house is just the way we want it. I will post pictures as we progress on our projects.
We have two dogs, Lilly an almost 2 year old Cavachon (a King Charles Cavalier and Bichon mix) and Winston a year and half old Shorkie (a Shih Tzu and Yorkie mix).
